today is my momma's birthday. she is also dixie's foster mom, until i move into a new apt. this picture was taken the night she won teacher of the year--i happen to think she looks really pretty in it too. she's so full of great advice and wisdom that it took me 23 years to figure it out. i hope she had a great birthday today and we'll celebrate again on saturday when i come home for christmas! happy birthday madre!!! love, punky.
