dixie!!

it feels like it's been a while since i posted a solo shot of my sweet dixie. since she's officially never moving to new york, dixie spends all day in the backyard running around and doing dog things. she's even lost a little weight! 

i can't wait to see her at thanksgiving!

this dessert is vanilla cake with apple pie baked into it, on top of a chocolate cake with pumpkin pie baked into that layer, covered in buttercream frosting. 

one slice is 1,800 calories. yikes!

 i've been on the hunt for a bow necklace just like these! i'm hoping the guy at the christmas fair in union square can make me something similar to those earrings--so pretty!

crocs on a plane!

some fool in the democratic republic of congo snuck a small crocodile onto a plane in his carry-on bag. the croc escapes, causes a panic/stampede in the cabin, which leads to the plane losing its balance, which leads to a plane crash. 19 people killed, 1 human survivor, 1 crocodile survivor.
