jeopardy on a friday night

on friday nights during the awkward lull between work and going out i like to snuggie and watch jeopardy. i hate to say it, but it's so amazing how the majority of the contestants are socially retarded. however, when i finally make it on the show, that statement becomes false. obvi.

i loveee the olympics

i freakin' love the olympics. and i love all the shots of the host city the network broadcasts throughout the games. since i think visiting rio de janiero would be pretty awesome, i'm super excited they are hosting the 2016 olympics!!

thirsty thursday

my friends went out last night to celebrate having 1 work day left this week. where did they end up? dorrian's, of course. i'm really hoping they had the opportunity to meet this guy while they were out. he looks like a good time and a great addition to the group.

how pretty is that? i would love to stay in this cabin for a night or a weekend. it looks so peaceful--and certainly without constant honking and construction noise. growing up in Texas, the leaves do change in the fall, but nothing like these vibrant colors. this picture was taken in Woodford, Vermont. let's go.

padma is preggers!

i told my top chef friend (yeah, i'm that nerdy) that i thought padma looked preggers at the emmy awards a couple of weeks ago. i guess i was right.

the highline

i really want to go check out the highline park this weekend. right now, my bf tom c. has a 'wichcraft stand open and afterwards you can grab cupcakes from butterlane. sounds like the perfect saturday to me.

it's october...

now that it's officially october, i can now start actively thinking/obsessing over what i should be for halloween! right now, i'm debating on whether to ressurect the turtle suit from date party days.

so far, i know a hamburglar and a vampire. very random.
